This policy explains what data MyGuildRoster (“we”) collects and how we use it. We aim to collect only what we need to run the Service.
Information we collect
- Discord account data — when you sign in with Discord, we receive your Discord user ID, username, avatar, and the list of Discord servers you belong to (used to show which guilds you can access).
- Guild data you enter — characters, roster, raids, attendance, tactics, loot, recruitment applications and similar information you or your guild add.
- Technical data — your IP address and browser user-agent, used for security, rate-limiting, and basic usage analytics (e.g. how many people viewed the demo and for how long).
- Cookies — a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
How we use it
- To provide and operate the Service and authenticate you.
- To display rosters, raids and related guild information to your own guild.
- To keep the Service working reliably and maintain its quality.
- To process membership payments (handled by Patreon — see below).
We use your data ONLY to run the Service for your guild. Your guild's data is used solely to provide the website to you and your guild and to keep it running well. We do not use it for any purpose outside the website, we do not share or sell it to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising. Each guild's data is kept separate and is only visible within that guild.
Third parties
- Discord — sign-in, and an optional bot that can post messages to channels you configure.
- Warcraft Logs & Raider.IO — when a character name is provided, we fetch that character’s public data to show gear, logs, or scores.
- Patreon — our payment provider. Membership payments and payment details (e.g. card numbers) are handled entirely by Patreon; we do not see or store them.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it outside of operating this website for your guild.
Data retention
We keep your data while your account or guild is active. When a guild is deleted, its data is removed. You can request deletion of your data at any time via the contact form.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You can delete your own characters and (if you are the guild’s GM) your guild from within the app, or contact us for help.
